Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a coursebycourse basis; strong academic background is required.
Semester: Fall Semester
Adjunct Faculty: NursingPsych/Mental Health Specialty
The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of no more than 8 students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency in the psychmental health setting. This position is 2 days a week 15 hours) for 8 weeks (typically Tuesdays/Wednesdays 7a3p). Days/times may be negotiable depending on instructor/site availability.
The timeframe is August 27October 8 2025 OR October 15December 19 2025
Course: NURS211: Nursing III
Adjunct appointments are temporary for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
The compensation rate is $800$950 per contact hour or $47.95 $59.45 per clinical rate per hour if applicable. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
Education: Candidates must meet one of the following options:
1. Masters degree in Nursing
2. BS in Nursing with a Masters degree in public health health care administration health promotion or another healthrelated field.
3. BS in Nursing currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program.
4. BS in Nursing
5. AS in Nursing and work at New Hampshire Hospital
Experience: At least two years of recent relevant nursing experience in psychiatricmental health nursing.
Licensure: Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multistate registered nurse license issued by a compact state.
