This position is located out of our Bloomington IN office. The role is eligible for hybrid work with a typical schedule of 3 days inoffice and 2 days remote per week.
The Indiana University Foundation is seeking a strategic creative and technically savvy marketing innovator to help drive our website user experience and functionality. This role will use a strategic approach to driving business outcomes through our digital presence.
In this role youll serve as part of the Marketing & Communications department and as a key member of our Account Services team responsible for acquiring engaging and retaining alumni and donors. Ultimately these efforts will translate to boosting visitor engagement event and program attendance and philanthropic donations through seamless and meaningful website strategies. As website owner you will build an endtoend frictionless user experience for our constituents and implement a cohesive search engine optimization strategy based on industry best practices and will monitor and analyze performance metrics.
You will collaborate with team members to drive traffic to our site ensuring the voice and character of the site is coherent seamless ADA compliant and onbrand. An important aspect of this position is continuous innovation accomplished by enhancing website features and functionalities developing and executing comprehensive website strategies offering strategic guidance on website design and identifying future web initiatives.
Youll lead a small but nimble team of 5 staff members that bring big ideas to life. You will own all aspects of our website and serve as a project leader to senior and junior team members as you work together to improve processes decrease time to market increase accuracy and ensure effective resource allocation.
While the team has notable experience in web development and ecommerce the ideal candidate will drive the development of usercentric designs and oversee multiple projects from conception to launch. You will provide expertise and support for crossdepartmental projects involving technology integrations and act as an evangelist for our constituents with a focus on identifying ways to improve the user experience and ensure the state and health of our web content and functionality. In addition the expectation is that the individual in this position will effectively cultivate and manage relationships with vendors and external contractors participate in crossdepartmental projects ensure smooth collaboration and delivery of services and monitor and maintain global site updates.
