Job Description

Position : Technical Customer Support Specialist (LATAM & South Africa Hiring)

Clients Industry: Computer Hardware Manufacturing from the US

Working Hours : Monday to Friday: 10am 6pm EST

Salary Range : 1500 USD 1750 USD

We are seeking a Customer Support Representative to manage CRM activities process customer orders and provide daytoday communication with vendors and customers. This role requires basic computer hardware knowledge strong English communication skills and experience in CRM and order processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM/Leads Management:

  • Respond to basic customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate with vendors to perform stock checks and obtain lead times/ETA.
  • Create and update customer accounts including address contact details shipping preferences tax certificates and payment methods.
  • Assign customer leads and inquiries (e.g. quote requests volume pricing) to the appropriate salesperson.

Order and PO Processing:

  • Process and modify online orders according to customer needs following established protocols.
  • Submit and revise purchase orders (POs) to vendors based on updated customer requirements.
  • Communicate order statuses to customers using logistics updates and vendor feedback.

Scheduled Tasks and Emails:

  • Use the internal system (Scheduled Tasks feature) to create edit and complete internal communication assignments.
  • Manage customer emails forwarded by the executive team ensuring timely and professional followups.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of customer support experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with computer hardware (e.g. basic maintenance battery/SIM replacement).
  • Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting concepts.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Experience using Odoo system / Netsuite (huge plus).
  • Interest in AI and its applications in customer service or hardware support.
