Workshop Technician Apprentice Ref: EE01125

Hourly Rates:

16 to 17 year olds 7.55

18 to 20 year olds 10.00

21 and over 12.21

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Sunday annualised contract)
Contract: Fixedterm 42 months

Were looking for a motivated and handson individual to join our Fleet Services team as a Workshop Technician Apprentice. If youre passionate about mechanics and eager to learn this is your opportunity to gain real experience while working towards a Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Assist in inspecting and repairing vehicles and equipment.
  • Learn to diagnose faults using modern tools and systems.
  • Help with vehicle and machine preparation including fuelling cleaning and checks.
  • Gain experience in MOT station procedures and depot operations.
  • Understand key fleet regulations safety practices and maintenance standards.
  • Keep accurate records and support vehicle compliance work.

What Were Looking For

  • Enthusiastic committed and willing to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
  • GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
