The Product Marketing Manager will contribute to the development of content across the full buyers journey with the majority of focus on mid to bottomoffunnel sales collateral pieces. This role will work closely with other members of the marketing team as well as teams across Appcast including product development sales strategy and customer success to ensure that our products are positioned effectively in the market and our sales team is enabled for successful selling. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking extensive collaboration and creative . This person will be a key contributor to our marketing team as they support Appcasts growth goals and transform how great companies find great talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Product Platform Strategy and Sales to build deep product knowledge and leverage in marketing strategies and campaigns
- Lead Go To Market (GTM) strategy for new product launches or features collaborating with crossfunctional stakeholders and subject matter experts and managing GTM with marketing teammates
- Contribute to collateral development Develop marketfacing materials (e.g. PowerPoint decks product roadmap decks) with strong value messaging and storytelling that transcends our marketfacing digital properties (e.g. website); create sales materials including external one pagers and internal training materials
- Own case studies and testimonials Identify potential testimonials and case study sources interview customers to collect relevant details and write the case studies/craft testimonials for customer review and signoff
- Contribute to the development of a fullfunnel content strategy that drives engagement and leads across all channels
- Understand our customers problems and needs; assist with developing and then continuously evolving our buyers personas; use data to inform decisions.
- Monitor and maintain competitor intel and battlecards as needed to enable sales teams
- Support international sales growth and partnership marketing
- Manage presence on thirdparty review and community sites such as G2
- Collaborate with internal and external design resources as well as subject matter experts
- Assess the effectiveness of the product marketing programs tools (G2 and technology (Mindtickle) that support Appcasts GTM efforts on an ongoing basis
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated excellence collaborating crossfunctionally with team members across a matrixed organization
- Excellent organization attention to detail and project management skills with a proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects of varying complexities simultaneously
- Editorial mindset that seeks to continuously understand what resonates best with our audience and the best content type/channel for communicating it
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of positive energy drive curiosity and commitment; must be a selfstarter with strong time management skills and enjoy working in a fastpaced and collaborative environment.
- Ability to develop a project plan create reasonable project scopes and set reasonable deadlines for those involved; manages projects to ontime completion with quality goals met.
- Awareness of /interest in HR tech industry preferred
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in marketing advertising business management or similar is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in marketing role at a B2B company
- Experience creating compelling content and collateral for sales teams (including pitch decks)
- Experience developing/contributing to GTM plans for new/enhanced products
