Job Description
Job Title: General Anesthesiologist
Location: Rockford Illinois Area
A dynamic anesthesia practice in the Rockford Illinois area is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Anesthesiologist to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to provide anesthesia services to patients undergoing a wide variety of medical procedures including administering basic health care monitoring vital signs and supporting the surgical team. The Anesthesiologist will also supervise CRNAs approximately 75 of the time.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive salary of $515000 annually.
- SignOn Bonus: $75000 signon bonus.
- Vacation & Sick Time: Seven weeks of vacation two weeks of sick time.
- CME: Continuing Medical Education funds.
- Retirement: Employer contribution to retirement plan.
- Health Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance coverage including malpractice insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia for patients undergoing surgery and medical procedures.
- Administer basic health care and medical treatments ensuring patient safety.
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team for seamless patient care.
- Supervise CRNAs ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
Requirements:
- ABA board eligible or board certified.
- Experience with regional anesthesia blocks.
- Illinois medical license is a plus but not required.
