Job Description

Job Title: Guidewire QA Lead

Location: Edison NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months (Contract Based)

About the Role:

We are actively seeking a Guidewire QA Lead to join our team onsite in New Jersey. This role requires a dynamic QA professional with deep expertise in Guidewire Policy Center and a solid background in the insurance domain specifically Workers Compensation. The ideal candidate will lead the quality assurance efforts across the full project lifecycle from planning to execution and ensure delivery excellence in close coordination with Guidewire implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all QA activities for Guidewire Policy Center implementations.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans strategies and test cases based on business requirements.

  • Ensure quality standards and best practices are maintained across all QA processes.

  • Drive defect management processes track issues and support resolution in collaboration with development teams.

  • Facilitate effective onsite-offshore coordination for QA deliverables and timelines.

  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers ensuring continuous growth and performance improvement.

  • Provide status reporting and updates to project stakeholders and QA leadership.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including developers business analysts and product owners to ensure alignment on project goals.

Required Qualifications:
  • Guidewire Certification Mandatory.

  • 5 years of experience in Guidewire QA with a strong focus on Policy Center implementations.

  • In-depth understanding of Workers Compensation insurance processes.

  • Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA ALM Zephyr).

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing distributed QA teams.

  • Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Guidewire Billing Center or Claim Center.

  • Automation testing experience (Selenium TestNG or similar frameworks).

  • Exposure to integration/API testing and performance testing.
