Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide executivelevel budgetary performance support to the organizations front office. Responsibilities include:
- Track and report customers budget
- Integrate and visualize budget data from disparate data sources to create new insights
- Develop content for executive level briefings and dashboards
- Brief customer leadership on budgetary issues and other topics of importance
- Serve as officewide budget SME resource
- Educate customers staff on budget and financial topics
- Develop improvements to the customers budget and finance process documentation and governance
- Interface with leadership budget finance and plans staffs of subordinate organizations on substantive budgetary topics
- Facilitate officewide budget processes
- Drive accountability by documenting meetings identifying actions and ensuring timely resolution
- Track assign and respond to corporate actions
Work location will be in Chantilly.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience with relevant customer business systems (Cognos BASIS ALM HIVE TaskIt etc.
- Experience extracting budget and fiscal reporting from customer business systems
- Experience creating and maintaining budget structures including WBS BLIs etc.
- Exceptionally strong experience with Excel including creating and using PivotTables
- Ability to identify acquire and combine relevant business data to inform executives
- Experience drafting written communications for an executivelevel audience
- Exceptional initiative and ability to operate with limited oversight
- Active TS/SCI w/poly
- Minimum experience
- 12 years with BS/BA
- 10 years with MS/MA
- 7 years with PhD
- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field or 4 additional years of relevant technical experience may be accepted as equivalent
Desired:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
