Crystal Springs located in Assonet MA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual for the role of fulltime or perdiem Community Supporter. WHATS THE SCOPE
This position offers both perdiem and fulltime opportunities with a competitive wage of $18.00 to $23.98/hour. We provide a generous signing bonus of up to $2000 and an attractive benefits package that includes:

We offer flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle including perdiem shifts and fulltime schedules. Available schedules include Monday to Friday from 8:00 am 4:00 pm or Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm 8:00 pm allowing you to maintain a worklife balance while contributing meaningfully to our community.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER
In your role as a Community Supporter you will coordinate and oversee a variety of inhouse and outdoor activities with an emphasis on gymnasium and group events. You will develop and implement plans to utilize our playgrounds gym tree house sensory room and other facilities to their fullest potential. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a detailed calendar of events coordinating all summer schedules and ensuring the safety and engagement of our residents by obtaining necessary certifications such as Lifeguard Pool Operator and Special Olympics coach. Your day will be focused on fostering a supportive and enriching environment for adults with developmental disabilities.
WHATS REQUIRED FOR A COMMUNITY SUPPORTER
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capability to obtain and maintain Lifeguard and Pool Operator certifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification as a Special Olympics coach
- Ability to pass a van driving inservice
- Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a habilitation or vocational setting
A bachelors degree in a related field is preferred. At least one year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is also a plus!
