We have an exciting opportunity for an Community Programme Facilitatorto join the Sefton service. Your focus will be on delivering and developing group/pod work programmes such as Foundations of Recovery you will be required to deliver group work and working on a one to one basis in the community so a valid full uk driving license and access to a vehice is necessary for this role.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual so being flexible curious and a good listener are key.
Where: Sefton various locations from Bootle to Southport
Hours: full time 37.5 per week
Full time Salary: 27861.26 - 32002.35 dependent on experience
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
About the role:
- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Research design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/pods
- Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place
- Lead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programme
- Review service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary
- Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs such as: anger management sleep disorders relationships etc
- Research and confirm community venues as needed.
About you:
- Driving license and access to own transport for work purposes.
- Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics such as conflict or challenging behaviour
- Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions
- Ability to understand the specific needs of groups
- Understanding of evidence based interventions in a group work setting including around substance misuse and offending behaviour (desirable but not essential)
