The National Security Sector at Leidos is currently seeking a Cyber Instructor/ Training Specialist to be located at Fort Gordon Georgia. Serves as a Cyber Training Instructor & Developer under the supervision of the Cyber Training & Sustainment Branch Training & Support Division. Conducts classroom instruction in the theory & operations and validation of cyber training to Army warfighters. Performs analyses and oversight of cyber courseware development (Offensive Cyber Operations Defensive Cyber Operations Department of Defense Information Network) to be strategically delivered to the Army warfighter.
Primary Responsibilities:
Training Services
- Provide delivery of instruction through both field and classroom training/operation.
- When required work shall be done at night and in inclement weather.
- When applicable coordinate classroom setup to support each individual class.
- Provide modernization instruction on the operations and maintenance of supported systems standard and nonstandard systems and equipment.
- Serve as primary instructors assistant instructors and/or demonstrators.
Curriculum Development
- Coordinate with Government customers to prepare and instruct Cyber courseware for current and future networks.
- Create customized training plans based on current system sand missionspecific requirements.
Cross Training:
- Participate in formal training and selfinstruction / use on complimentary systems and protocols to increase the breadth of systems competency for training and fielding requirements.
Continuing Education
- Continue education through selfstudy and other methods to maintain instructor certification status as applicable.
- Trainers shall attend instructor qualification training or other specialized training conducted at various CONUS or OCONUS locations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors with 4 or more years related experience or 8 years of Cyber Security experience in lieu of degree requirements.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Current certifications and ability to teach 2 of the listed): Security CEH CCNA CASP Network.
- Classroom Instructor experience in 2 of the above.
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72150.00 $130425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
