Senior Commercial Plumbing Specialist Healthcare Facilities
Were seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Specialist to join our healthcare facility maintenance team in Virginia. This role combines technical expertise with leadership opportunities offering the chance to work on complex plumbing systems in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Role Overview
As our Senior Plumbing Specialist youll maintain critical plumbing infrastructure that directly impacts patient care and facility operations. This position offers a blend of handson technical work and project leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute emergency routine and preventive maintenance on complex plumbing systems
- Install and maintain medical gas water natural gas and drainage systems
- Interpret and work from blueprints ensuring compliance with healthcare facility codes
- Troubleshoot and repair advanced mechanical systems and equipment
- Coordinate and oversee specialty projects
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs and installations
- Research and recommend new technologies and best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade or vocational school training in plumbing preferred
- Minimum 3 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Must obtain Journeymans or Master Plumbing License within 24 months
- Valid Virginia Drivers License
- Knowledge of state plumbing codes for healthcare facilities
- Proficiency with computerized maintenance systems
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
