Job Description
Stephens College is seeking a high-energy positive professional to join our Enrollment & Marketing Team as an Admissions Specialist. This team member will play a crucial role in student recruitment with the goal of attracting admitting and enrolling a talented diverse student community.
The Admissions Specialist contributes to all aspects of the enrollment process: traveling to engage with students; interviewing prospective students; reviewing applications; building relationships with high school counselors and community organizations; and partnering with colleagues throughout the College.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding promptly to inquiries from prospective students and families.
- Recruiting students through travel.
- Organizing and executing recruitment programming on and off campus.
- Guiding prospective students through the admissions process including application and enrollment steps.
- Serving as a resource for students families and school counselors and community-based organizations.
- Supporting recruiting and enrollment programs projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Reviewing applications and making admissions recommendations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Zoom Google and the ability to quickly master new platforms applications and programs.
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to travel and work extended hours during busy seasons. Travel is estimated at 20%.
