About this opportunity:
The Process Engineerintraining within the Operations Engineering team at Husky Midstream plays an important role in optimizing operational processes. This position supports the organizations safety efficiency and growth through process engineering deliverables and guidance.
Key responsibilities include daytoday Operations and Maintenance support project/opportunity scoping technical recommendations and incident investigation/rootcause analysis.
In scope: all assets owned by Husky Midstream General Partnership (pipelines and terminals excludes natural gas gathering/processing assets).
The successful candidate grasps technical concepts collaborates effectively with stakeholders (particularly Operations Maintenance and Projects teams) communicates with impact (influence without direct authority) and connects technical recommendations with desired business results.

What youll do:
Troubleshoot daytoday process issues
Prepare feasibility and frontend scoping studies
Support detailed design of facilities or system modifications
Participate in or lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) operational risk assessments process safety incidents and root cause analyses
Participate in Cenovus Operations Integrity Management System implementation and sustainment initiatives
Support the upkeep and accuracy of process safety information
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
A degree in Chemical Process Industrial Systems Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
Eligibility for registration with APEGA or APEGS as an engineerintraining is required
24 years of related experience and/or professional engineer designation . would be an asset
Familiarity with process hazard analysis including WhatIf HAZOP LOPA
Awareness of overpressure protection methods and sizing/selection of protection devices would be an asset
We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
As this position has been identified as safety sensitive employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required preemployment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 drivers license a satisfactory driving record and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A drivers abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the preemployment screening for the final candidate.
