Overview
- As a Director of Marketing youll manage an organizations online presence by developing and implementing their social media strategy.
- Youll lead campaigns and projects across a range of social media channels producing engaging content analyzing usage data building client relationships and facilitating customer service.
- Social media strategies include organic (free content such as posts photos videos blogs and memes) and paid (advertising) strategies. This individual will handle social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies for the organization.
- Manage the daytoday handling of all social media channels such as Facebook Instagram LinkedIn Twitter Pinterest TikTok Snapchat Tumblr and YouTube adapting content to suit different channels and audiences.
- Oversee plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools.
- Actively follow influencer trends and publish timely distribution of relevant content.
- Create and/or coordinate original and engaging multimedia content across various platforms.
- Educate company staff on the use of social media branding and marketing best practices.
- Develop launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organization and brand.
- Regularly consult with clients via telephone email conference calls or in person.
- Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms
- Undertake audience research
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
- Monitor track analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
- Identify consumer trends to help with planning social media campaigns
- Research and evaluate the latest tools and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
- Analyze competitor activity
- Recommend improvements to increase performance
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and loyalty
- Manage and track budgets for social media activities
- Encourage collaboration across teams and departments.
Skills
Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or Marketing Manager.
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent content and copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO keyword research and Google Analytics
Understanding of optimum ROI yield from all social media channels .
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Familiarity with web design
Excellent communication and creativethinking skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
Experience Level
More than 6 years relevant work experience
Must have lead and successfully executed major key campaigns
Ideally should possess ability to plan strategies
Excellent communications skills are required
The professional must be a team player
Selfmotivated and initiative oriented will be preferred
Should have capacity to implement key requirements
Energetic and team player will be prioritized
