Job Description
Description of the role:
The Activity Director at The Manor at Blue Water Bay is responsible for planning implementing and supervising programs that meet the interests and needs of the residents. This role involves organizing various recreational activities social events and outings to enhance the quality of life for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging activity programs for residents
- Coordinate special events outings and entertainment
- Work closely with residents to understand their preferences and needs
- Collaborate with other staff members to promote resident engagement
Requirements:
- Prior experience in planning and organizing recreational activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of the needs and interests of older adults
