What would you do as a School Age Day camp staff
As a PT School Age Day Camp staff at the Y you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for children always keeping a watchful eye on their activities. Your warm and friendly personality will shine as you engage with the kiddos creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere where they can thrive. By assisting in maintaining a learning environment filled with developmentally appropriate activities youll contribute to the growth and development of each child in your care. Requirements for this School Age day camp staff
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- An understanding and knowledge of children their behavior and development.
- Specific knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices for the age group.
- Must have or enroll in CPR First Aid Child Abuse Prevention and Prevention of Infectious Diseases.
- Warm and friendly personality and the willingness to interact with the children.
- Meet DCY licensing qualifications in training and background check.
