The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Nationwide Childrens Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine are seeking two academic endocrinologists for fulltime faculty positions. The rank of this position may be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor on the Clinical Academic Track.
The Division has comprehensive programs covering the full range of endocrine disorders and diabetes with 16000 patient visits per year. Subspecialty programs include type 2 diabetes PraderWilli syndrome Turner syndrome thyroid nodule/cancer Gender/DSD metabolic bone disease muscular dystrophy PCOS neurooncology and bone marrow transplant (BMT) survivorship clinics to name some of the large number of multidisciplinary clinics covering a variety of conditions with endocrine related comorbidities in the institution. The division has a plethora of robust quality improvement programs relating to endocrine conditions as well as diabetes mellitus and is a member of the Type 1 Diabetes Exchange QI Collaborative. The division supports a 3year ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology presently for 2 fellows/year and is ranked #12 by US News and World Reports for Diabetes and Endocrinology.
Applicants must have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology. Applicants should have strong clinical skills and a commitment to teaching and clinical research.
