Job Description
Review design specifications and shop drawings for approval and recommend modifications when necessary.
Address constructionrelated challenges and proactively mitigate potential project risks.
Foster strong relationships with clients consultants and relevant local authorities.
Ensure that contractors including Nominated SubContractors (NSC) and Domestic SubContractors (DSC) fulfill all contractual performance requirements.
Uphold high standards of construction quality and ensure proper implementation of construction methods.
Develop work schedules and construction programs in line with project requirements and specifications.
Implement and manage all inspection activities (Inspection Test Plans ITP) and coordinate with consultants clients and the Head of Project (HOP) to eliminate both latent and patent defects.
Coordinate with relevant authorities to facilitate construction activities and obtain necessary approvals.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
Proven track record of involvement in diverse projects including highrise office buildings hotels residential developments and various amenities such as warehouses factories hospitals and shopping complexes. Must have successfully completed at least three fullcycle projects from inception to completion.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strong ambition to build and lead a team while also being able to work independently and think creatively.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of technical aspects contractual obligations and statutory regulations applicable to the construction industry.
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is considered an added advantage.
Practical experience in implementing quality and safety management systems such as 5S ISO 9001 BuildQAS QLASSIC (including CIS 7:2021 and OSHA 45001 is highly desirable.
