Job Title: Accounts Payable Representative

Position Summary:
Our client a premier luxury home builder based in Phoenix AZ is seeking a detaildriven and proactive Accounts Payable Representative to join their dynamic accounting team. In this role you will play a key part in supporting the financial backbone of highend residential projects by ensuring accurate timely payments and maintaining thorough documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify trade invoices for accuracy appropriate documentation and compliance with contract terms.
- Code and enter invoices into accounting software (QuickBooks and Buildertrend).
- Process weekly check runs ACH payments and credit card transactions in a timely manner.
- Manage lien waivers certificates of insurance and other required documentation for subcontractor payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies or billing issues.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and project managers to ensure accurate job cost coding and approval workflows.
- Maintain organized and uptodate AP files.
- Assist with monthend billing processes.
- Track and ensure compliance with contract terms including retainage and milestone payments.
- Respond to inquiries from trade partners.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of accounts payable experience preferably within the construction or home building industry.
- Knowledge of constructionrelated billing lien releases and compliance documents.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Buildertrend) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with vendors and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with luxury home construction custom projects and highend material vendors.
- Understanding of job costing and construction billing cycles.

Pay: $50000.00 $75000.00 per year
