About the Role:
The Business Development Specialist plays a key role in driving company growth by generating and converting leads fostering relationships and positioning the company as an industry leader. This individual is responsible for client acquisition networking market research and ensuring a seamless sales process. The ideal candidate is highly motivated goaloriented and possesses excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling networking referrals and relationshipbuilding strategies.
Client Acquisition: Convert leads into customers by employing effective sales techniques followups and collaboration with the Operations team.
Networking & Brand Representation: Attend relevant industry events leverage LinkedIn and other social media platforms to connect with prospects and referral partners and enhance brand visibility.
Sales Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM and other technologies to track follow up and close leads while keeping the sales pipeline organized and optimized.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed on competitors offerings to strategically position the companys services and address client comparisons.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all deals align with ethical business practices and set accurate expectations to provide a seamless customer journey.
Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with Operations to ensure accurate estimates proper expectationsetting and continuous process improvement based on field feedback.

- Conflict Resolution: Skilled in handling client concerns and assisting operations in dispute resolution when necessary.
- Negotiation Skills: Maintains composure and professionalism during sales interactions to successfully close deals.
- Honesty & Transparency: Sets realistic client expectations ensuring the company delivers on its promises.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma required bachelors degree in business sales or a related field preferred.
13 years of experience in sales business development or customer acquisition.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot).
Industry Knowledge Highly Preferred
Experience in B2B B2C or servicebased industries is a plus.
