The Supply Stays team plays a key role in shaping these stays. As a multidisciplinary team we partner with Hosts to conceptualize and develop highquality repeatable and commercially viable offerings that align with our brand values.

Airbnb is seeking a Market Manager DACH with a primary focus on Germany to support and grow our network of Hosts and Partners. This role will be part of the Supply Stays team and report to the Territory Manager DACH/CEE. Based in our Berlin Germany office this position requires onsite presence.

The Difference You will Make:

This role requires candidates to be based in Berlin Germany. This role is not eligible for relocation support.

As a Market Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of professional Host accounts and ensuring a highquality competitive supply of stays in DACH & CEE. You will play a key role in strengthening Airbnbs market presence by fostering strong relationships with Hosts and Partners and collaborating with crossfunctional teams as the local inmarket expert.

With a deep understanding of Airbnbs mission and values you will drive market success through strategic host relationship management optimizing supply quality and ensuring that Airbnbs offerings remain competitive and aligned with guest expectations. Additionally you will develop and implement localized supply strategies to enhance Airbnbs presence in both established and growth markets securing longterm success for Hosts and Airbnb alike.

A Typical Day:

  • Build and manage professional host account relationships within the DACH territory
  • Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales goals. This includes holding optimization calls and business reviews with your clients as well as representing Airbnb in external meetings with Professional Hosts
  • Analyze data and utilize datadriven recommendations to identify and action on strategic opportunities in your region to drive increase in sales
  • Maintain a baseline understanding of the technical integration of various software partners so that you can provide the right support to your clients
  • Educate clients on all significant product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Develop deep knowledge of your assigned geographic markets and become the goto source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
  • Respond to and deliver exceptional service to your professional hosts in a timely and efficient manner occasionally traveling to your market to provide inperson support and guidance
  • Work crossfunctionally with public policy legal communication and customer support teams to ensure our longterm market success.
  • Engage an entrepreneurial mindset to autonomously design develop and execute bespoke engagement initiatives for the assigned territory.

Your Expertise:

  • 6 years of experience in account management partner support and/or sales with 2 years in the hospitality/travel industry preferred
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian or Czech is required
  • Willingness to travel regularly to your assigned market 12 times per quarter)
  • Proven track record in managing a leads pipeline and/or book of business
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce Mixmax a plus) and managing core objects (leads opportunities)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clients via Zoom Email and Inperson
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and apply data effectively
  • Ability to work strategically and tactically managing time priorities and deadlines in a dynamic fastpaced environment
