Extended Day Program Facilitator

Under the general direction of Early Learning Services and the program Supervisor the EDP Facilitator will:
- provide active and engaged supervision to children between the ages of 4 12 yrs in our before and after school programs;
- provide opportunities for children that help to support physical cognitive emotional and social development;
- follow the program philosophy of a relaxed warm and safe environment in order to help to nurture and support children and their families.
Required Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- consideration will be given to those who have successfully graduated from the Child and Youth Worker Developmental Service Worker or Recreation & Leisure programs;
- Candidates must have experience working with Kindergarten and/or School Age children;
- valid First Aid and CPR.
Contract positions are offered for September through June at various locations with an hourly wage of $23.54.
