Job Description

About the Position

The City of Saint Paul Public Works Street Maintenance Division is hiring individuals to perform manual labor in the construction maintenance and repair of streets highways alleys sidewalks and City rightofway.

  • Candidates with a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) have a starting wage of $31.30 $34.74 per hour.
  • Candidates with a Class D Drivers License or equivalent and relevant work experience will have a starting wage of $25.76 per hour.

Heres what you can expect to do:
Information Specific to this Position:
Street Maintenance staff rotate between two schedules: winter schedule (midOctober April) and summer schedule (April October). Start and end dates for each schedule are contingent upon weather. The shifts available vary and shift preference is based on seniority. This position will require you to work weeknights and weekend days or nights.

  • Wednesday May 14th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Assessment:Qualifications Rating

The Qualifications Rating is an assessment of your completed application and answers to the Supplemental Questionnaire.
