Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist Recruiter to join our team! This role will primarily focus on recruitment efforts while providing support for other key HR functions within the department. As a Human Resources Generalist Recruiter you will play a key role in building and sustaining a strong inclusive culture that values employee wellbeing operational efficiency and productivity. What will you primarily do as aHuman Resources Generalist Recruiter
  • Responsible for finding and attracting the best candidates by building talent pipelines sourcing candidates and managing Backhaul Directs recruitment process
  • Work with hiring managers and lead full cycle recruitment process for multiple positions in all areas of the company
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires by conducting new hire orientations and ensuring all onboarding forms are completed properly and new hires receive relevant training
  • Coordinate new hire training and contribute to the planning and delivery of ongoing development initiatives to enhance team performance and skills
  • Review employee time and attendance records to ensure all are accurate and completed prior to payroll processing
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs including enrollment changes and general employee inquiries.
  • Assist with payroll processes by reviewing timesheets maintaining employee data and coordinating updates for hires terminations and pay changes.
  • Help ensure accuracy and compliance across both benefits and payroll records supporting audits and reporting as needed
  • Assist with the employee termination process including conducting exit interviews and managing required documentation
  • Assist with the FMLA/Disability leave process evaluating leave requests to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations provide and maintain accurate documentation recordkeeping reporting and tracking etc.
  • Draft facilitate and follow up on disciplinary actions including performance plans employee warnings and terminations
  • Identify develop systemize and implement HR procedures policies and workflows
  • Support employee recognition activities
  • Acts as point of contact for all HR needs for employees
  • Answers employee questions about HR policies
  • Perform general office administrative work including coordinating employee events
  • Organize schedule create and collect all relevant materials for employee meetings events and travel
  • Assist with marketing and social media campaigns
  • Sell Backhaul Direct through passionate communication strong presentation skills and knowledge of all services offered
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and regulations affecting human resources functions
  • Maintain knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law
What do you need to be successful as aHuman Resources Generalist Recruiter
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related field required
  • 35 years of experience in Human Resources required
  • 12 years of experience in general recruiting preferred
  • Experience with a sales and operations environment a plus
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRMCP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
  • Selfstarter mentality
  • 1 years of demonstrated experience resolving employee relations preferred
  • Tact and proven ability to deal with difficult situations
  • Customer service mindset with an outgoing approachable personality
  • Organized and strong work ethic
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employmentrelated laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
