Job Description
A Mental Health Clinic is seeking a Clinical Director (LCSW) for a hybrid role with flexible hours. This position involves supervising clinicians and interns maintaining a small caseload and ensuring high clinical standards through oversight documentation review and staff development. The ideal candidate will have a valid NYS LCSW at least one year of supervisory experience (or be open to training) strong clinical and diagnostic skills and experience with OMH standards.
Responsibilities Include:
Clinical Supervision:
Supervise clinicians and interns ensuring highquality clinical care and adherence to ethical standards.
Provide individual and group supervision guidance and support.
Caseload Management:
Maintain a manageable caseload while providing clinical treatment and ensuring appropriate documentation.
Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Staff Development & Training:
Oversee documentation review and ensure clinical staff meet organizational and OMH standards.
Participate in staff development and training to promote ongoing professional growth.
Collaboration & Team Participation:
Participate in team meetings to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care and treatment.
Ensure clinical practices and processes are effective and evidencebased.
Ideal Qualifications:
Valid NYS LCSW license.
At least one year of supervisory experience (or open to training in clinical supervision).
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with experience in mental health settings.
Familiarity with OMH standards and regulations.
Experience with children and Spanish fluency are a plus.
SIFI certification is a plus.
