What you will be doing at Woodard & Curran:
The City of Groveland is one of the most rapidly growing cities in Florida known as The City of Natural Charm and Unlimited Possibilities. As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection and water distribution systems with remote pump station equipment valves piping lift stations and water meters. If you enjoy working outdoors protecting natures precious resource water then you will find this position challenging and rewarding. This is an entry level position with the opportunity for upward mobility to advance your career in the utility field. Retirement Savings:
401(k) Pretax or Roth Contributions: The company will match equal to 100 of the first 3 of salary contributed; all employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan and are 100 vested in the value of their own contributions and any employer matching contributions.
Time away from work:
Vacation time is provided to full and parttime regular employees. Vacation is accrued based on the number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience.
Woodard & Curran offers paid sick time to eligible employees who are absent due to their own nonwork related illness injury or medical procedure.
Woodard & Curran provides up to 80 hours of Paid Parental Leave for child bonding in a 12month period.
