Job Description
1. Financial Reports & Insight
Manage the company s financial reporting budgeting forecasting and statutory reporting.
Provide quality and timely financial insights to other departments to support datadriven decisionmaking.
Present regular financial results and actionable insights to the Finance Committee and Executive Committee.
2. Strategic DecisionMaking
Act as a key contributor to the company s overall business strategy and annual operating plan.
Oversee cash flow management banking relationships and borrowing activities to maintain a healthy debt profile and optimized interest coverage.
3. Cost Management & Profit Maximization
Advise and contribute to cost optimization across products markets and business units to ensure profitability.
Maintain a minimum 20 bottom line by implementing targeted costsaving measures.
Develop and deploy at least one revenuegenerating initiative per quarter.
Lead and promote a culture of cost control and financial discipline.
Ensure a success rate of 90 or higher in achieving financial initiative milestones.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
Prepare comprehensive financial projections and annual free cash flow forecasts.
Keep budget variances below 10 and maintain a minimum of 90 budget accuracy.
Oversee finance department projects (e.g. ERP implementation) and ensure timely .
Provide financial support for expansion projects with relevant and accurate financial data.
5. Team Management & Capacity Building
Supervise accounts payable/receivable treasury and accounting functions to maintain a transaction error rate below 3.
Build a performancedriven culture through clear goalsetting regular feedback and structured performance evaluations.
Identify and develop highperforming team members while addressing underperformance.
Ensure at least 90 of the finance team participates in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or its equivalent from an accredited higher institution.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA is required.
Additional certifications and participation in relevant industry/professional bodies are highly desirable.
A Master s degree in Accounting or a related field is considered an added advantage.
