Job Description

Successful candidates will receiveBethel School Districts $3000 Special Education Hiring Incentive!

Educators must be fully and appropriately licensed by Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) to be eligible for this incentive. Restricted license holders will not be eligible.

$1000 bonus after 30 days of work
$500 in December paycheck
$500 in March paycheck
$1000 in June at the conclusion of the school year

Bethel School District is seeking a highly qualified and passionate 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 202526 school year at Willamette High School for the Bethel Transition Network (BTN) program. BTN serves students aged 1418 with moderate disabilities focusing on functional academics skills of daily living communication and prevocational skills.

About BTN

The Bethel Transitions Network (BTN) prepares and assists young adults with individual education needs to successfully transition into the adult world. The program emphasizes the continued development of Community Work and Community Living skills with a strong focus on social and interpersonal skills. Our goal is to empower each student to become resilient in the transition from school services to the challenges of everyday living. We work collaboratively with students their families and community agencies to develop individualized transition plans that meet each students unique needs. Services provided include:

  • Transition assessments to identify each students strengths interests and needs
  • Development of transition goals and objectives
  • Advocacy for students and their families
  • Support for students and their families as they navigate the transition process

Candidates who are licensed or will have the ability to be licensed byOregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commissionby the start of the202526 School Year are encouraged to apply.
