About The role
Are you a natural organiser with a passion for learning and development Do you thrive in a fastpaced environment where your coordination skills make a real impact If so we want you on our team! We are seeking an enthusiastic Training Coordinator to join our Primary Care Portfolio. Youll play a key role in delivering engaging highquality education and training events for general practitioners and practice staff across WA.
Location: WAPHA Head Office Level 2 1 Hood Street Subiaco (Hybrid Role)
Salary: Band 4 $87000 $92000 Plus 11.5 Superannuation depending on experience)
Employment Type: This role will be offered as a Secondment cover until 26th March 2026 (with a possibility of extension)
Key tasks and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Coordinate the planning preparation delivery and evaluation of training and education events for general practice teams.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to design engaging inclusive and flexible learning content including elearning modules.
Manage accreditation processes and liaise with bodies such as RACGP to allocate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
Prepare and distribute promotional materials such as flyers newsletters and social media content to support event visibility.
Maintain a training asset register ensuring all learning materials and resources are up to date and accessible.
Leverage data and feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Schedule and coordinate GP education events in partnership with Health Service Providers Hospital Liaison GPs and clinicians.
Engage and support internal and external stakeholders to ensure training aligns with strategic goals and practice needs.
Represent the Primary Care Portfolio on internal working groups and collaborate across teams to deliver quality outcomes.
Contribute to reporting requirements and maintain documentation related to training planning communications and evaluation.
To be considered for this role candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential experience and education
Tertiary qualification in education health communications or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
Demonstrated experience coordinating training programs or education events including content development and logistics
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
Experience working in dynamic fastpaced environments with competing priorities and deadlines
Familiarity with adult learning principles and inclusive training design.
Experience using digital learning platforms event coordination tools and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
High attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
Understanding of the primary healthcare landscape or previous experience in the health or notforprofit sectors is highly regarded.
