Location: Darwin

Employment Type: Full Time 37.5 hours/week

About the Role

The Client Service Officer plays a vital role supporting NAAJAs busy civil law practice working across a broad range of legal issues including:

Police accountability

Child protection

Adult guardianship

Tenancy & social security

Discrimination & consumer law

Victims of crime assistance

Youll help organise remote legal clinics travel to communities support lawyers liaise with service providers and act as the first point of contact for clientsmaking legal services accessible culturally appropriate and effective.

What Youll Bring

Cultural awareness and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

Strong communication admin and client service skills

Willingness to travel to remote communities and stay overnight

Ability to work both independently and within a closeknit team

Confidence using systems like CMS and managing client data

Requirements

Manual drivers licence (C Class)

Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)

Satisfactory criminal history check

Availability to travel to remote communities and stay overnight to attend remote civil law clinics when required.
