Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities
- Attend and assist the varsity coach with conducting daily workouts and practices
- Assist the varsity coach with the supervision and instruction of studentathletes during all team activities
- Assist the varsity coach with the preparation of the softball facility for all home games
- Promote balanced achievement in all areas of school life for studentathletes
- Communicate effectively with parents students and school administrators
- Motivate athletes
- Assist the varsity coach and the school system in building the softball program and plan for its future
Qualifications
- CPR / First Aid Training Fundamentals of Coaching Training Health and Safety for Coaches and Concussion Training preferred
- Complete orientation through human resources including fingerprinting and background checks
- Within two years of hiring successful completion of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) course and test entitled Basic Virginia High School League Course accessible at be completed.
