We are searching for a compassionate and selfmotivated Medical Assistant who thrives in a busy work environment and is passionate about providing top quality patient care. This role will be a great fit for someone who has experience providing point of care testing injections and is comfortable working administrative as well as clinical tasks.
Location: Med Center East Building. 455 W. Court St Suite 406 Kankakee IL
Work Schedule:Full Time. Monday Friday 8:004:30pm CST
Team Structure:1 Provider / 1 Medical Assistant / 1 Patient Service Rep / 1 Surgery Scheduler

Responsibilities
This Position isresponsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks such as maintaining patient records preparing patients and rooms for examination assisting physicians with exams and performing frontdesk tasks. Tasks may include appoint scheduling answering and returning patient calls and coordinating daily office activities. This position conveys a positive image of the office and provides information as needed to ensure patients are aware of all benefits of the office.

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
5. Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $17.00 to $24.62. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
