About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated and experienced Resident Medical Officers (RMO) to provide high-quality medical care in the ICU and General Wards of our hospitals located in Thane and Shahpur. This role requires strong clinical expertise in handling critically ill patients, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock medical supervision and care to patients in ICU and general wards.
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and treatment progress, ensuring timely interventions.
- Coordinate with consultants, specialists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Manage emergencies and stabilize critically ill patients as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Assist during code blue situations and other medical emergencies.
- Communicate with patient families to provide treatment updates when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to hospital SOPs, hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Conduct initial assessments, track vitals, monitor patients, and provide appropriate treatments.
- Perform ICU procedures: central/arterial line insertions, endotracheal intubations.
- Administer fluids, medications, and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond promptly in emergencies, provide resuscitation/lifesaving interventions.
- Follow up on diagnostics, modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Treat acute/chronic illnesses including infections like typhoid, fever, etc.
- Document patient progress, discharge documentation, discharge summaries.
- Supervise junior staff, guide students/nurses, sign claims/reimbursements.
- Participate in audits, quality initiatives, research, CME to update skills.
- Ensure smooth shift operations, continuity of care, emergency response readiness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: BAMS/BHMS from a recognized university (MBBS preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in ICU/general wards in reputed hospitals.
- Strong clinical knowledge in handling emergency and critical care patients.
- Additional certifications in ACLS/BLS preferred.
