Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa Manager for a renowned luxury wilderness reserve located in the Western Cape. This position requires a socially focused detailoriented and highly organized leader to guide the spa team and manage the daytoday operations of the spa.
Position Overview:
Department: Spa
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Western Cape
Role Type: Active managerial role (includes performing treatments)
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience in a 5star spa environment in a therapist role
Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role within a luxury spa
International qualifications: CIDESCO and ITEC required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
Experience with Spa Management Systems; familiarity with Tata Harper and Elemis products advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Highly presentable and professional
Proven experience in:
Stock control
Budgeting and cost control
Revenue reporting and general administration
Staff training and implementation of protocols
Willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
Key Performance Objectives:
Oversee and support the daily spa operations maintaining a handson presence
Perform spa treatments alongside management duties
Ensure guest satisfaction by handling all feedback and concerns professionally and efficiently
Adhere to all health safety and hygiene requirements within the spa
Maintain correct use and minimal breakage of spa equipment and stock
Ensure all guest service aligns with 5star standards
Manage and mentor a team of 3 4 therapists and 2 spa attendants
Develop and implement a comprehensive spa training manual
Oversee appointment scheduling staff responsibilities and client satisfaction processes
Handle all guest complaints promptly and log them appropriately
Monitor daily schedules to ensure optimal flow and guest service
