What youll do

• Linux Expertise:
  • Design implement and maintain complex Linuxbased systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues with a focus on rapid recovery.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices including OS hardening and compliance.
  • Automate routine tasks through scripting and configuration management tools.

• Cloud Administration:
  • Manage and maintain cloudbased Linux infrastructure (AWS Azure GCP).
  • Deploy and configure cloud resources like virtual machines storage and networking components.
  • Optimize cloud costs and implement resource scaling strategies.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of cloudbased systems.

• Root Cause Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify the underlying causes of system failures or performance issues.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather data replicate issues and implement permanent solutions.
  • Create comprehensive RCA reports system documentation and knowledge base articles to prevent future occurrences.

• Mentorship and Collaboration:
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Actively participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to team documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends technologies and best practices.

What youll bring

• Experience:5 10years of professional experience in Linux system administration with a demonstrated ability to perform Root Cause Analysis

• Technical Skills:
  • Expertlevel Linux knowledge:Deep understanding of Linux internals kernel architecture process and memory management filesystems and system calls.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:Mastery of tools like top htop vmstat iostat sar ps netstat ss journalctl rsyslog dmesg strace lsof tcpdump wireshark perf systemdanalyze.
  • Networking:Advanced understanding of TCP/IP network interfaces routing DNS DHCP firewalls and diagnostic tools.
  • Security:Strong knowledge of security principles OS hardening compliance and tools for vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection.
  • Scripting and Automation:Proficiency in Shell scripting Python and/or other scripting languages. Experience with InfrastructureasCode tools like Ansible Puppet Chef or Terraform.
  • Cloud Infrastructure:Experience with AWS Azure or GCP including core services.
  • Virtualization:Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and other virtualization technologies.

Our team ECS Delivery Technical Operations is responsible for 24x7 operations of these businesscritical SAP systems in the cloud. We are looking for an experienced Linux & Cloud Administrator to support our multinational team by providing L3/L4 expert support for all Linux OS and infrastructure customer issues. This role requires building automation and improving our platform operations to deliver worldclass cloud services for SAP Applications to enterprise customers worldwide. You will lead efforts in root cause analysis enabling faster issue resolution and continuous improvement of our operational processes. Additionally you will be responsible for the conceptual design configuration and administration of our cloud platform based on Linux operating systems in Azure AWS Google Cloud and SAP data centers ensuring the stability and reliability of our environment for running businesscritical systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedLinux Engineer with experience in Cloud.The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in Linux systems exceptional problemsolving abilities and a passion for ensuring the stability and resilience of our Linux server infrastructure. This role demands comfort in a fastpaced dynamic environment and the ability to operate effectively in a global 24x7 setting. The person will start working on RCAs but would additionally be responsible for system performance Incidents Service request etc.
