Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Benefits Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers handson experience in employee benefits administration and exposure to various HR functions. The ideal candidate is eager to learn organized and interested in pursuing a career in HR or benefits management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daytoday administration of employee benefits programs including health dental vision life insurance and retirement plans
  • Support open enrollment processes employee communications and data entry
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation in HRIS and benefits platforms
  • Assist in auditing benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Participate in researching and comparing benefits offerings and best practices
  • Provide support with wellness initiatives internal communications and benefits education efforts
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct more complex questions to the appropriate team members
  • Support ongoing and ad hoc HR projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
  • Interest in employee benefits compliance and HR operations
