SPAR North Rand is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose of the position: The purpose of this position is to reconcile customer accounts limit overdue and resolve the account queries.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Liaising with store/DC accounts staff to resolve queries and claims.
Collect outstanding monies on problematic overdue accounts.
Ensure excellent relationships with the Retailers.
Allocation of direct payments received and balancing to daily banking.
Follow up on unpaid accounts.
Resolution of claims on Gateway portal
Performing any tasks relating to Debtors as requested.
Ensure that journals are processed accurately and timeously.
Report on overdue and claims.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
Degree or related Finance qualifications
13 years experience in a similar role
Advanced computer skills especially MS Excel and MS Word
SAP experience is required.
Financial accounting analysis
MS Office literate
Ability to resolve queries.
Must be analytical.
Sound interpersonal and communication (telephone & writing) skills
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to resolve queries.
Ability to operate effectively in a team environment.
