Job Description
As the Head of Operational Excellence for Qemetica Silicas you will drive the implementation of best practices throughout the organization to support operational performance excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Build capability by defining and implementing a standardized set of tools to manage manufacturing and implementation of lean principles.
- Assure the site adopts & embeds the defined standards and best practices as defined developed and established within the framework.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and Productivity Savings Projects.
- Identify charter and lead improvement projects; deliver results; and ensure improvements are sustained post implementation.
- Quantify and monetize the impact of improvements
- Use problemsolving skills verbal and written communication skills; ability to build relationships to engage and influence individuals at all levels of an organization.
- Provide tactical and strategic leadership to train and develop others.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field
- 10 years experience in an Operations or Continuous Improvement role
- Strong experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment leading Kaizen and Continuous Improvement projects.
