Purpose of the job:
Management of all operational people/processes & products to meet business demand for the Site. This role reports to the Senior Operations Director FP Trays
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure the Health & Safety of employees and visitors at the site and that all KP safety rules are followed
- Ensure Best in Class Quality & Service while obtaining a competitive cost base
- Accurate budgetary control forecasting & management
- Continuous improvement of all relevant operations metrics (e.g. Material Balance Output/ Manhour OEE% DPMO
- Manage multidisciplined teams including training discipline development and morale
Management responsibility:
Up to 7 direct reports and high numbers of indirect reports that fluctuate depending on demand
Will manage professional & technical employees plus skilled and semiskilled labor
Strategic impact:
Will influence CAPEX and Divisional strategy as well as business strategy for Trays segment.
Functional knowledge and technical skills within own and other areas:
- Previous experience of Operational Management essential
- Technical process skills and understanding of production capabilities
- Extensive experience in dealing with worker representatives and the local union
- Excellent knowledge of Continuous Improvement Techniques and processes (Six Sigma Lean TPM Total Quality Management)
- Highly developed management skills with the capability to manage numerous functions
- Solid Financial Understanding
- Experience in cooperating with all stakeholders (e.g. Sales Customer Service Group Functions
- Customer focused
Your Profile:
- Educated to degree level in Engineering or similar with 510 years relevant management experience in operations
- Proficient in English language
- Excellent ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional crossregional and matrix organizations.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think strategically
- Demonstrates creativity in technical problemsolving and critical thinking.
- Possess sound decisionmaking capabilities.
- Ability to take complex topics and focus on key messages.
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
