The Opportunity
Worldline a global leader in payment services is seeking an experienced Global Business Development Manager for Airlines & eTravel to drive growth and partnerships across our global footprint. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and skilled individual to join our highperforming team and make a significant impact in the airline payments ecosystem.
DaytoDay Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a global business development strategy tailored to the airline sector ensuring alignment with Worldlines overarching goals.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers at airlines payment partners and industry stakeholders across APAC EMEA LATAM and Americas.
- Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends customer needs and competitive opportunities within the global airline payments landscape.
- Deal Closing: Lead complex negotiations create winning proposals and drive revenue by securing longterm partnerships with airline clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as sales marketing product development and operations to deliver valuedriven solutions.
Who Are We Looking For
- Experience: 58 years of proven business development experience preferably in the airline payments or travelrelated sectors.
- Global Perspective: Strong understanding of global markets with the ability to navigate cultural nuances across APAC EMEA LATAM and Americas.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- ResultsOriented: Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth targets in a competitive and fastpaced environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with airline payment systems trends and challenges is a strong advantage.
- You deliver optimal solutions by evaluating various alternatives and exploring adaptations of policies procedures and techniques to meet customer needs effectively.
Skills We Cant Do Without
- Strong commercial drive and a solid understanding of the Airlines and eTravel market.
- Skilled negotiator with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- A deep interest in teambuilding and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
- An ongoing interest in the FinTech space and its applications in travel.
- You thrive in a dynamic multifaceted environment adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
- The ability to analyze data combine it with market insights and develop and communicate actionable results ideas and strategies
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools to effectively manage customer relationships.
Skills Wed Like to Have
- A genuine enthusiasm for travel and the airlines industry. Whether you are a frequent flyer or passionate about travel experiences this is your chance to work in a rapidly evolving field.
- Capability to manage your own travel schedule and expense budget effectively.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
