Job Description
- Operate and manage the robotic drill rigs with precision and safety ensuring all operations align with project objectives and compliance standards.
- Participate in comprehensive training programs covering the control systems of the machine drilling methodology and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the research and development team to identify opportunities for improvements and innovations in drilling technology.
- Contribute technical expertise to the design and implementation of upgrades and modifications to the robotic drill rigs.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance of the machinery.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on drilling operations findings and equipment status for internal review and continuous improvement.
- Travel to various project sites including remote locations as required to meet operational needs and project objectives.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide technical support and ensure satisfaction with drilling operations and outcomes.
- Instrumentation qualifications with specific focus on automation and robotics.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Mechatronic) will be advantageous
- Strong technical acumen and ability to grasp complex engineering concepts.
- Experience in operating or maintaining heavy machinery robotics or similar technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Willingness to undergo specialized training on the operation and maintenance of robotic drill rigs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to produce comprehensive technical reports.
- Availability to travel to remote sites as required by project demands.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.
