We are looking for a People Operations Assistant to support ChiLantros team members and leaders by ensuring seamless People Operations. Guided by our Core Values of Dedication Authenticity Resilience and Thankfulness this role provides handson support across multiple locations assisting with team member relations compliance recruiting payroll benefits administration and training initiatives.
With a proactive and solutionsoriented mindset the People Operations Assistant enhances engagement ensures compliance and improves People Operations processes as ChiLantro continues to grow.

- You are passionate about being aninstore People Operations presence regularly visiting restaurant locations to support managers and team members.
- You thrive inteam member relations addressing concerns conducting checkins and supporting conflict resolution.
- You enjoyrecruiting efforts attending hiring events conducting interviews and helping managers with hiring best practices.
- You can effectivelypost and advertise open positionsto attract top talent.
- You are detailoriented and ensurecompliancewith training and licensing requirements across all locations.
- You excel atconducting file auditsfor electronic employment records identifying deficiencies and ensuring accurate information.
- You have experience withbenefits administration processing enrollments terminations and changes.
- You canmanage payroll processingand address payrollrelated inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
- You can administeremployee health benefits including ChiLantros comprehensive insurance programs.
- You canprepare and analyze HR reportssuch as attendance new hire and turnover reports to provide insights for decisionmaking.
- You are a problemsolver who canconduct research and provide recommendationsto support HR policy and procedure implementation.
- You are excited to coordinate and assist withNew Restaurant Openings (NROs) including travel arrangements and staffing support.
- You proactivelyidentify opportunities to improve internal HR processes and workflowsas the company scales.
- You are an effective communicator who cancollaborate with leaders in a timely and professional mannerto support HR initiatives.
- You are a gotopoint of contact for team members responding to inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
- You love supportingteam member engagement and recognition programsacross multiple locations.
- You are proactive inconducting workplace audits safety checks and compliance reviewsat store locations.
- You are passionate abouttraining and development coordinating onboarding sessions tracking training progress and supporting leadership development programs.
- You canprovide inperson training supportat store locations ensuring compliance with company standards and reinforcing best practices.
- You canidentify training gapsand contribute to developing learning materials.
- You are adaptable and ready toperform other duties as neededto support the People Operations team.
