Remote based with regular visits to HX Group offices (Kent Maidenhead Birmingham etc)

About
Were looking for a VP of Pricing Solutions who can lead the review development and implementation of a cuttingedge AIpowered pricing solution. You will spearhead the creation of a new function focussed on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to adopt dynamic pricing models that adapt to realtime conditions.
This is a unique opportunity to own a highimpact product that sits at the heart of our commercial success across a growing portfolio. Youll define the vision build the team and deliver a solution that leverages realtime data predictive modelling and machine learning to optimise pricing decisions at scale.
The Role
By joining our team youll:
- Develop a comprehensive roadmap for a sophisticated real time pricing and forecasting solution
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align pricing models with business objectives
- Review and implement advanced mathematical models optimisation algorithms and machine learning techniques to predict demand optimise pricing and maximise revenue
- Leverage historical geographic economic and market data to create a robust pricing strategy
- Lean on the group architecture team to ensure AI solutions are robust explainable and compliant with data security and privacy regulations
- Use AI to integrate realtime data feeds (competitor analysis customer traffic events capacity) into pricing algorithms to dynamically adjust pricing
- Develop key metrics to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI and pricing bringing innovation and cuttingedge thinking into everything we build
What you can bring to our team:
- A strong academic background (Masters or PhD) in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in pricing AI data science or algorithm design with a track record of building and deploying realtime pricing or recommendation systems
- Deep technical knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch) cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and big data tools (e.g. Spark Hadoop)
- Experience of designing and/or implementing business critical operational algorithms
- Clear communication skills; experienced communicating with senior stakeholders and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business impact
- Excellent problemsolving and project management skills
- A strategic commercially focused mindset and a passion for using data and AI to solve realworld problems at scale
- Experience with data structure design and implementation
