Associate Pricing Business Partner

Job Description!

Were looking for an Associate Pricing Business Partner to help drive pricing-led decision-making across LGC Group. This high-impact role supports the full pricing lifecyclefrom strategy through to implementationby partnering with team members and contributing to regular price review processes.

Youll also lead the development of pricing reporting and analysis finding opportunities to improve efficiency and insight. This is a highly analytical role ideal for someone confident in Excel and PowerPoint ideally with experience using business intelligence tools like Tableau and PowerBI.

Success in this role means taking ownership solving problems and continuously improving the quality of pricing decisions in a fast-paced evolving environment.

Qualifications

What youll do:

The Associate Pricing Business Partner has three main areas of responsibility but will have the opportunity to develop and get involved with new pricing initiatives and projects as the business need arises.

Business partnering

• Own and drive tactical and strategic pricing projects in cross-functional working groups to operational efficiency and value creation
• Partner and work with team members across all levels of seniority on pricing projects and initiatives
• Prepare pricing analyses and proposals to support commercial team on business development
• Develop a strong understanding of how LGCs business units work and champion the role that group pricing plays within their processes (including pricing tools and systems)

Pricing review processes

• Own the pricing review process for the business unit from creation of analysis leading conversations with partners and ensuring implementation of new pricing into systems.
• Undertake analysis across product ranges customers and regions to find opportunities and challenges for consideration by the business.
• Contribute thought leadership that supports with strategic decision making
• Own the development of improvements and efficiencies for the process collaborating across the group pricing function to scale these to maximise impact.

Price analytics

• Oversee the creation delivery and impact of regular price reporting driving quality and efficiency improvements.
• Work with senior team members to develop their understanding of the impact of pricing decisions.
• Contribute to budgeting forecasting and performance tracking in collaboration with Finance and Commercial teams
• Support the Head of Pricing with the evolution of pricing data and analytical capabilities and tools to drive efficiency and speed of decision making across the organization.

Qualifications :

Were seeking an analytical professional with a solid foundation in data analysis synthesizing and presenting findings to influence team members and drive decision making. Well be looking for evidence of tangible impact from your work as well as demonstration of a growth mindset and desire to learn and question.

• 35 years experience in pricing finance or commercial roles with a degree or relevant professional qualification
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail and clear engaging communication style
• Proven ability to influence and present to external partners
• Collaborative teammate effective across all levels with strong time and priority management
• Fluent in English with experience delivering pricing or related projects

Other desirable skills include:

• Familiarity with Tableau Power BI IFS SAP Salesforce or similar tools
• Exposure to the Life Sciences industry
