This broad beat requires a curious and passionate journalist who is comfortable focusing on electricvehicle manufacturers and moving horizontally to cover other industries. The unifying theme is Musk and the technological innovation that is impacting markets and the economy. Its a chance to write about rockets robotaxis and robots.
Keeping on top of developments in several sectors and providing fastpaced analysis on their importance will be crucial. The reporter will also need to be comfortable writing enterprise articles and collaborating with other MarketWatch teams including our Washington bureau.
Candidates should have experience with business and markets reporting. The role will be based in New York though other locations will be considered on merit.

Experience producing distinctive coverage on a competitive beat
