Job Description

Your responsibilities as Project Controller
In the role of Project Controller you are the sparring partner and the financial conscience for all vessel related projects. Together with the Fleet management team you control and report on the Offshore Energys Anchor Handling Tugs exploited within the business unit Marine Services.
Responsibilities include:
- Financial control of the asset investments damage claim files and drydocking projects; crewing maintenance & repair and overhead costs;
- Financial control of the recovery (hire);
- Budgeting and planning: preparation and discussion of actual costs and forecasts with operational managers;
- Facilitation of internal and external financial audits;
- Periodical reporting to Sr. Controller & Business unit Controller Fleet.
You are the Project Controller we are looking for if:
- You have successfully completed a financial education preferably focused on Controlling Business Administration or equivalent;
- You have preferably several years of experience as a Financial Controller;
- You have a good command of the English language both in word and in writing;
- You have an affinity with IT / ERP systems (e.g. MS Excel Infor LN Vena Power BI).
The following competencies are also important for the role of function:
- You are outspoken expressive and an excellent networker;
- You are a team player who works well with colleagues from different (nonfinancial) disciplines;
- You are able to connect and act as a sparring partner for various stakeholders (e.g. technical superintendents project teams and business unit management);
- You have strong analytical skills you are goaloriented and are able to work under pressure;

Extra information
- Your team: You will be part of the finance & control team for Fleet Management. The team exist of 8 colleagues working in Papendrecht and on other Boskalis locations around the world. The team exist of business controllers project controller and project fleet controller and you will report to the Business Unit Controller.
- Where you will work: You will be based in the head office in Papendrecht. For officebased roles in consultation with your manager and your team you work partly at home and partly in the office.
- Full/parttime job: The position of senior cost estimator is a fulltime job 40 hours a week).
