The role
This is an Aboriginal Identified role where Aboriginal identity cultural knowledge or connections are a genuine aspect of the role. Positions are specifically noted under the provisions of the NSW Anti-discrimination Act (1977).
The Project Coordinator is responsible for keeping our projects on track from planning and documentation to engaging with communities and making sure things run smoothly. Youll be juggling reports coordinating resources and working closely with stakeholders to deliver outcomes that meet timelines budgets and quality standards. You will play a key role in supporting the planning and implementation of the Parks for People program to ensure timely delivery of parks playgrounds and urban squares near essential infrastructure and public transport.
A key part of the job involves meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities ensuring their voices are heard and reflected in our project strategies. Youll need to be thoughtful and culturally aware especially when navigating sensitive issues and building trust with diverse communities. Whether its researching emerging challenges or refining policy your work helps shape better processes and clearer direction for everyone involved.
