Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts fostering strong client relationships and facilitating the renewal and retention of business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate policy terms and pricing.
- Analyze clients insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewal reviews to clients.
- Assist in the resolution of client issues and claims ensuring prompt and efficient results.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends regulations and coverage options to provide informed advice to clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and servicing of client accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products coverage options and underwriting processes.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention goals.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
