Job Description: Accountant
Location: Hyderabad
Description
The Accountant will process accounting postings Fixed Assets Transactions on Asset Module perform closing activities and validate overall closing within the area of responsibility. The Accountant will also perform detailed review reconciliations analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.

The Accountant will process accounting postings Fixed Assets Transactions on Asset Module perform closing activities and validate overall closing within the area of responsibility. The Accountant will also perform detailed review reconciliations analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.
Functional responsibilities:
Required Experience:

Accounting/Finance University degree.
-
Minimum of 3 years finance/accounting experience.
-
Experience in Fixed Assets accounting would be a plus.
-
Previous exposure to Lease Accounting US GAAP valuable.
-
SAP Asset Module knowledge desirable.
-
US GAAP.
-
Business proficiency in English.
-
PC skills: demonstrated ability to work with email programs and MS Excel.

To process accounting postings.

To perform reconciliations
-
To execute and engage on all internal control activities defined within the function.

To participate on internal & external financial audits
-
To drive and facilitate interactions with internal /external customers and third parties (legal entity controllers/ plant accountants).
-
To participate in system projects in functional area with limited guidance.
-
To prepare and deliver quality financial reports as required by internal or external requirements on time.

To perform detailed review analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.

To perform closing activities.

Consultancy for the SBU (cost vs. capital questions and in general any other permanent investment accounting query).

Active participation in any permanent investment projects (Carve in/ Carve out processes JV creation mergers etc).
